This Quarter is over!

    Well, this is the last week of second quarter, and the last week for tech class. It's been fun, and learned quite a bit about tech, like how to make movies from powerpoint, and make movies with movie maker. Also, I learned to type more effectively and learned what JPEG means. Along with that, I discovered more things to do on the internet and how to take Youtube videos downloadable. So, this Semester was pretty great.

Christmas break

 During this Christmas Break, everything should be just like every other. Hanging out with family, staying up til dawn with friends, playing games, also having fun in the snow (if we get any) . And, having a great time, like Christmas should be, nothing different or new, just free to do stuff and things with friends and family, and get some awesome gifts from my family. This is why i'm ready got Christmas, and you know, the two week long break! This time of year is wonderful.

This is a story of a snow day, a great snow day. I woke up about 11 AM  on a bright Friday morning. And, I looked outside to see the white sheets covering the yard, which granted me a day of break from school, and I thanked the snow for that. I left my room, looked out to our driveway to see the cars gone, "Parents left for work, huh." I said to myself as I went downstairs to our living room, and sat down on the very soft couch and lied there for a minute, then felt my belly rumble and realized I was starving.............

My next door neighbor had some very fine decor for Christmas this year, most of them very similar to mine. I didn't pay it much mind, until I went to my basement to get the decor out, and it was all gone. So, that's why I'm here, in my neighbor's yard, un-pluging my lights from his house, pulling wooden cutouts of Santa back to my yard when, the black of the night suddenly turns violently flashing blue and red, and the wail of police sirens filled the quiet night. I looked at my neighbor's house, and saw him staring though a window with a phone to his ear.

Thanksgiving Break

                Next week, is Thanksgiving Break, giving me only two days of school that week. Which in turn, translates to 2 days of school which turns to awesomeness. This is the break I've been needing for awhile, hanging with some friends, playing some games. Also, Thanksgiving is great because I'll get to eat everything! And, spend time with family. That's my weekend.

Day off

I deserve a day off of school because I work hard everyday with only two days worth of break a week. I find only two days unfair, even if I work hard and deal with people. Other reasons I need a day off is because, sometimes I need sometime to myself to figure something out with my life, and that takes days, something school doesn't give. Only on holidays is there a longer weekend. That's why I need a break.

The best book I've ever read.

Mister B. Gone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

                        The best book I've ever read was a rather charming book by the title, Mister B. Gone. This story is a autobiography of a demon and what got me reading was the first three words. "Burn This Book" and I thought I should see why I should, and though out the novel, the demon begs you to burn the book and tells you about his life. I found this a very good read, for it's plot and it's very well written. 

The Tracks

      This one time, a friend and I decided the woods behind my house were old, we craved new adventure, so, we decided to follow the tracks for a little, just to see where they'd lead, so, in a rather warm, 97 degree weather, we hit the tracks. After some time, there was a narrow valley, with the tracks running through it, with a sharp turn on the other end. My friend, not being the safest person I know decided to try to head through the valley, I had to do some fast talking to make him think otherwise, I would've followed him, but there was no where to run, if a train came.

Joys of the 8th Grade

As an 8th grader, I find it so much better than last year, because of the new, better projects we're doing. More science projects, and tech class is so much better than before. Even, though some of my favorite teachers are 7th grade teachers. There more for me with even new year of school, but, even now that i'm a 8th grader and one of the "big dogs" or so to speak, next year, I'll be a freshmen in High School which means, I'll be back to being the smallest one, again.

The Gas Station

Tonight, I was caught, and arrested for breaking into a gas station after hours. This was the first time I've ever done anything like this before, so, when I was bailed out, my parents asked me, "Why?" So, I had to tell them, I wasn't after the cash in the gas station or anything within the store, but I broke into the store, because of where it is and that's where it gets interesting, I was contacted by someone with the government.

Gaming

    I am a pretty involved gamer, not really hardcore. But pretty involved in gaming, with just playing and hanging with friends. Though, I play a lot of Xbox 360, that's not all I play. Anything from tabletop, card and video gaming, but when it comes to console gaming (Xbox 360) that's the only system I'll play, no WII or Playstation for me. Even though I don't "no life" games, I have a lot of hours in them, well, at least the good games. So, there's a little more of who I am at home.

Boredom

Boredom, such an interesting subject, in a world filled with so much, so, so much in the world. People can fall to boredom, even with all of this tech and just the world by itself. Now, I wonder how boredom can fall upon someone, it's like having some many ideas, but not being able or willing to do these things. Also, maybe, people don't get bored, but are just purely lazy. And if that's true, then that's sad, having almost the whole world of information and an world of out doors and people not using it. Maybe, boredom is just an excuse.

People on the internet.............

      So, recently, I've spent a whole lot of time on the internet, from Youtube, Ifunny, and other sites where you can comment on stuff. And where there's an argument between some people on the comments, people can it an "Comment War" on these comment wars, I've seen and been is some myself. And, though out this, I've learned alot of people on the internet are rather stupid. Like, for instance, this guy posted this picture hating on a fandom (The general term for a united group of fans) and I look at the comments, there's this guy that's about of the fandom, so he starts defending it with some intelligent arguments like, just because we like something a little odd, doesn't make us gay or bad people. And the person replied with stuff like no, that's not true, you are dumb. And bull like that. My point is that people make me mad. Because, isn't the internet a place to learn and expand your smarts. Instead, people have turned it to a place for pointless hate, denial of learning, and just being rude. It's disappointing.  

A Tape Measure

  So, I'm supposed to do a blog post on what a tape measure could do or maybe it could mean something, not exactly seen by the eyes, but by the mind. Which brings me to my point, maybe the tape measure can't do anything, or mean anything, just something for us to blog about. I think that the reason for the measure is the reason to blog, is to get us thinking, about what we mean in life, or our purpose for typing about this tape measure. Though, isn't that odd? I mean out of the whole world of interesting things, a tape measure is what they want us to blog about. Maybe, just maybe, there's more to Tech Class then I know, maybe things I shouldn't know. Or did my teachers really want me to blog about this tape measure? It all depends on one's mind, and logic. But, its most likely not a reason to get us thinking, maybe it is just a tape measure.

Last night..............

   Last night, I awoke around 3 A.M to my dog, Zeus, barking at me, violently. Confused, I looked around my room, the bed had its sheets made perfectly and from my window an orange tint covered my room.  , Zeus continued to bark at me, that's when it hit me, I was in my favorite chair, I looked down, at my arms, and across both of my arms, 3 black lashes across my arms.Though, I could move, the lashes pained me to move my arms, a burning feeling. Still, not fully awake, I stood up, then pain shot up my legs, looking down, my sleep pants were tattered, there were more lashes, just like the ones on my arms, I continued to feel like I was burning, slowly and in pain , I limped to my bed. Half way there, to my bed, my chest started to hurt, as if being ripped apart, my ears ringing as if someone shot a firearm in my ears, and my vision blurred horribly. My vision still blurred and my whole body was in deathly pain, I looked to my window, and I saw a face, and below that face, a torso in a black suit, with a red tie, and a white undershirt. But, the face, the face............. white as snow, and no details, just a face, no nose, no eyes, just a pale face, staring at me.......

Which Memory would I Bottle up?

    Since, this isn't a new blog, I'll get to reblog this post. The which memory would I bottle up post. The memory I'd bottle up would be last Christmas, a whole lot of stuff happened, like I figured out who my real friends are, a alot of loot (tons of games, toys and books). Also, just a whole lot of fun stuff happened over the vacation especially these two days, where I stayed up all night to nights in a row with one of my best friends, most likely one of the best two nights of my life. Those two nights where so much fun, just playing some video games. So, if I could bottle up a memory, it would be this one.

    Today, I was listening to music as I worked in Tech Class and I started to hear odd scratching sounds, and when I tried to turn off my music, it wouldn't stop playing. I kept pressing the pause button, nothing happened and seemingly the music was getting louder though my head phones, I started to panic because my music's volume was already maxed out. That was very concerning, so I resorted to pulling out the battery.

MLK Day and Veterans's day.

       So, during the school year we have MLK day off of school, but not Veteran's day. The school says its better to learn about Veterans, and go to school, even though a whole bunch of us have family that are veterans, so we could easily learn about the importance of veterans. But, in turn, the school may seem a little racist, because of their saying that it's better to on school to learn about veterans, but not the civil rights movements of Martin Luther King Jr. And I think this because, even though we can learn about veterans though family and such. And, yes we do learn a little about MLK before the day off, maybe we should learn about both holidays , but I think it should be even, have both days off or no days off. And since I'm a student, I'd support the first.

This is awesome!

     I have recently read on Newser that a nine year old girl drove her father to the hospital, because to her, her dad wasn't okay. It turns out her father had a golf ball sized tumor in his head, and is getting the tumor dealt with now. I, personally, find this little headline to be AWESOME! Because, the little girl named, Esteria, age 9, instead of panicking, she started driving to the hospital for her father. Most people wouldn't do that, especially, a nine year old girl. Letter from an old classmate

So, I have gotten a letter from an old classmate while he's in prison, about how he needs some cake. As strange as this may be this old "friend" has requested cake. Though, i'm not totally sure to why he wants the cake. But, I've been known for awesome cake making skills. I'm considering my options................

I enjoyed this class

   It's a shame that this class is over because every year technology is most of the time my favorite class. I learned a lot this quarter about the bits and pieces of the computers like what's an input device and fun stuff like that, I also learned a lot about typing and other Microsoft Office programs like Publisher and Power Point! I enjoyed this class very much and I can't wait to have this class next year as an 8th grader so I can do much more with the computers. My favorite part of this class was the blogging because it gives the students a lot of freedom with my work and freedom is cool.

   Trolls? Yes, trolls and not the ones from stories either. I'm talking about trolls on the internet, X-box Live or anything else like that. Trolls are people who think being rude by telling you something is true but it's not is funny. For instance, people on X-box Live tell the new comers to games about this really cool thing that you can do to get something awesome that doesn't exist like saying you'll get everything unlocked by being this whole list of stuff that doesn't do anything. But what I don't understand is why is this so popular? I don't get it! This was another rant!

    This is rant. Okay, so as you may or may not know I'm well informed on what's popular so I want to prove a point. Ever since Twilight came out, girls have been really into vampires which is odd because most of the time you see guys talking about and enjoying vampires. Well, now a show that was intended for 4-7 year old girls My little pony: Friendship is magic has been across the nation and many guys to ages of 12-40 have been watching this show. Which brings me to my point. What's up with today's logic, Vampires for girls. Ponies for men. I don't get it.

Where I would go

   If given the chance to go to any of these, I would go to Middle Earth, because fact of the matter is that Middle Earth is the only land I'm some what informed on. My point is that I really don't know anything about the others so if I was to this I head out that door so I know what to expect when I enter Middle Earth. What would happen really depends because of where I might end up on the other side. Though I do know one thing about this trip, is that I have to do a lot of exploring.

       I walked into my home after a long day of work to see that my home has been robbed! I looked around and called the police, they found nothing that can help to find who did this, but i noticed that where my X-box 360 was there was a small white box. When I went to investigate the box, it turned out it was my Nintendo DS and I instantly had an idea who might of stolen my stuff, and why they might of robbed my house.

Four day Weekend

     This four day weekend, I'll be playing lots of X-box with friends, hiking in the woods and maybe something else! My plan is to get up early and be outside until dark and then I'll go inside and play X-box for more than a epic six or so hours, it may sound sad to some but this is my dream because the woods offers a lot of fun and discovery, finding odd things and just running off the trail and learning the woods. And when I'm done with that I'll grab some diner, head downstairs to meet my friends online! Also, if i remember to I'll write more of my book. I have some great plans for this weekend and I intend to do all of those things. Four day weekends are amazing!

     Absent teachers are some times awesome because they get cool replacement teachers, but they may replace your favorite teacher but change is good sometimes. Because awesome subs will teach the subject well, be funny and make the absence of your favorite teacher worth while! 

My writing dream

      I've been wanting to write stories for awhile now but not the kind of books you find on the selves of a book store. I want to write story board in video game design because a wise man once told me to do what I love and I love writing and video games so I want to grow up and be a story board writer for video games because they make the back story of the games, the plot, the descriptions of the world is about. The story board writers are a big part of making games and well, I believe that i'm a pretty good writer.

My life

       My life is very odd comapred to most people. I don't play any sports but I do get my exersice from gym and walking home and other things to stay fit. Another odd thing about is most people play video games as their only type of none active games but I play a game called "Pathfinder" a role playing game of sorts so most people have never even heard of this. Also it may be diffrent or something like that but I think it's a good way to spend time with family. And I think most people would be embearested  by this but i'm not!

             If I could bottle up any memory and open that bottle so i could re live the moment. My bottled memory would be of the time My fried and I went out into the woods and did a lot of awesome stuff like build a fort, found parts of the woods we've never seen and best of all we got lost out there. The reason is that yes I was lost in the woods but that was one of the best times of my life first building a fort and then getting lost. It was the best because I was with one of my best friends cracking jokes all of the time and searching the woods frantically for a path to get home.

      So many great movies have the "R" rating making a lot of these awesome movies not to seem by a lot of my friends. For instance the movie "God Bless America" points out a lot of flaws with today's world and is a good movie but the "R" rating on this movie makes sense due to it's content but now a lot of people won't absorb its message.

Days Off

            I belive the reason why have M.L.K day off is that it was very important time period because people couldn't let go of their old ways of slavery and beliving that white is the best race. M.L.K stood up for what he belived in and that helped Amercia to be the place it is today. While Veteran's day is also a great day because the day supports our troops from the past and the present and their help has shaped and is still shapeing America.

Assault weapons

        After reading this article I decided not to ban assault weapons because of two reasons 1 Americans can't even buy assault weapons without a proper license and you need to earn the license which means that people who shouldn't have an assault weapon most likely can't get one and 2 an assault weapon is a fully automatic firearm but some people beg to differ which means if you don't know what an assault weapon is. Gaming

I am a gamer and i'm proud, because I can talk to my friends using the X-box Live online play service while mowing down hordes of the undead or saving the world from countless alien invasions.  I may game a lot but i do get exercise and the sun a lot. One reason I love online gaming is that most my friends don't live near me so X-box live is a good way to play with them and still keep up with each others lives.

Dear Mrs.Bolt:

I'm Patrick Siegfried, your student for the third quarter! You said to tell you about our selves so here's some info on me. Nolan is a good friend of mine so we may talk quite a bit. Also, I'm a large fan of the X-box 360 and general gaming which you may hear Nolan and I talking about such. Though I try to ignore him or tell him to let me work or something.

I love games mainly made by Xbox not that cheesy Nintendo stuff but I will learn about both systems just in case the subject comes up. I have a baby sister, mom, dad and a hamster named Cookie. I try to be open mined but somethings I will not listen to but i won't get into that. I like to put together models, painting and writing stories.

Last year in computers I had a close shaved hair style and apparently my computer teacher liked that and would spend like half of the class petting my head. It wasn't the worst thing ever but it was uncomfortable. The worst part was everybody liked it as well so at the end of class eveybody would swarm me. If that was popularity i didn't like it.

Railroad

                                  I think life is like a railroad because life is always is always moving no matter what even if you stay on the past life moves on. So all of the school "drama" and such that seems so important now isn't really because who is going to care about the pencil that you stole from whoever in about 4 years from now. Life goes on even if that one thing or that other thing you just have to move on even if it's not the easiest thing to do because if you just stop moving then your life will be a total crash like a train crash.

My weekends are a time of somewhat quiet and sending time with friends and family. My weekends begin with getting home from school, being chores like doing the dishes and gathering and taking out the trash and after that I get to basicly anything i want to, as long as i do any thing that stupid or dangerous so im still free to anything.
